At the beginning of the year, they delighted us by announcing the return of Gilmore Girls. This time last month, they teased us with a short trailer announcing all seven series would be available on Netflix for international bingeing.
But now, the team behind Gilmore Girls has finally put us out of our misery. Because the release date for the Gilmore Girls revival has finally been announced.
November. 25.
Put that date in the calendar. Unplug the telephone. Grab the pop tarts, marshmallows, coffee, coffee and even more coffee (in an IV drip of course), and prepare yourselves for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life to hit Netflix.
We may not be residents of the U.S, but we’ll be giving plenty of thanks for this GG miniseries over the American holiday weekend.
As we already know, the series will consist of four 90-minute episodes, each covering a season in Stars Hollow. But now we’ve been given a sneak glimpse into the world of Lorelai and Rory—and it’s like we’ve been transported back to 2007.
The pop-culture references are on point, the rapid-fire dialogue is flowing, and it’s as if we never left Stars Hollow all those years ago.
November may be a way off yet, but for now, you can whet your appetite by watching the trailer below, or catch up on all 153 episodes on Netflix in the next four months.
Oy with the poodles already.
