Alright ladies, hold on to the edge of your seats!
We may still have to wait until Valentine’s Day 2015 to get the full film, but the trailer for the film adaptation of E.L James’ bestselling novel Fifty Shades Of Grey was just released today. The film focuses on the steamy, tumultuous relationship between mousy, good girl Anastasia Steele and the powerful, sexy Christian Grey. The book has become the bestselling book of all time (or at least since we began keeping count). It spawned the “mommy-porn” book genre and countless copy-cat erotica novels.
The movie stars Jamie Dornan (from Once Upon A Time) as Grey and Dakota Johnson as Steele.
We can’t get over the amazingly beautiful stripped down version of Beyoncé’s Crazy In Love that plays throughout the trailer.
Considering the erotic content of the book, it is surprising that the trailer managed to earn a green-band rating (general audiences). But the last 15 seconds are a bit… intense… and maybe not safe for all workplaces!
So, while we have to wait another seven months for the full-length film, for now, enjoy the trailer!
I found him so not hot at the beginning of the trailer adn was all ‘whaaaaat’ – but okay it picks up.
