Vera Wang and Evan Lysacek???
Wait a minute! Now that’s not a couple that normally comes to mind, but if rumours are true, we may be able to add the 63-year old fashion designer to the list of famous older women who are dating younger men.
Just days after filing for divorce from her husband of 23 years, Vera Wang may have a new man in her life. Rumour has it that the fashion designer is dating 27-year old Evan Lysacek, the 2010 Winter Olympics gold medal winner in figure skating.
Wang herself is no stranger to the sport. In fact, she became a designer after failing to win a spot on the U.S. Olympic figure skating team. She went on to design some beautiful costumes for other US Olympic figure skaters and is also best known for her impeccable wedding gowns which are very popular at celebrity weddings.
The pair has not confirmed the rumours but the New York Daily News reports that Lysacek has moved into Wang’s home in Beverly Hills. Apparently, the two have been close for some time now and even attended Kim Kardashian’s wedding last October.
Could be Vera’s just trying to help out a good friend. But with the timing of the divorce announcement and the new living arrangements, people are wondering if their friendship has blossomed into something more.

Yeah, I always thought/assumed he was gay too. But there were rumours that he was dating Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin a couple of years ago but he later claimed it was a “just friends” situation there too. Could be Vera’s just enjoying his company as you say, but why have the guy move in? Surely he can’t be struggling!

I read this yesterday and was like ‘huih’? I always thought Evan was gay. Maybe she just wants a gay BFF while she’s going through this? The other shocking thing – she is 63???????? Look at her!!! Amazing!
