WHOA, the Gosling baby is here!
That’s right, People has confirmed that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes welcomed a baby girl this past Friday.
Still scratching your heads? Don’t worry, we totally forgot she was expecting too. Mendes’ pregnancy was (briefly) confirmed this past July and this super secretive couple has kept everything on the down low ever since. Like is there even a picture of Mendes pregnant, anywhere? Was she pregnant, really? We joke, we joke. We’ll take their word for it, that’s just our Gosling fangirl talking.
A part from the announcement, no additional details have been made public yet such as the baby’s name or whether this child has her dad’s beautiful blue eyes or not (What? We need to know…). But let’s be real, at this rate we probably won’t even know until she’s 18. But according to an insider close to the couple, Gosling and Mendes are thrilled to be new parents. So yay to that!
Gosling and Mendes met back in 2011 on the set of Place Beyond the Pines and despite the lack of photographic evidence, apparently they’ve been together ever since (fangirl sarcasm, sorry).
In all sincerity, we congratulate Canada’s gift to the world, Ryan Gosling and his partner Eva Mendes for the wonderful news.
(We also sympathize with all the heartbroken girls out there. We feel ya, girl).
