At the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards, Carrie Underwood gushed to PEOPLE backstage about her little man, Isaiah Michael, 14 months old, and how she’s got some stiff competition for singing at home.
“He likes to sing. If you just go ‘la la la,’ he’ll go ‘la la la.’ He mimics really well,” says Underwood. Another singer in the making? Only time will tell.
The proud mom shares that her adventurous toddler is a pro at many things. “Right now he is a climber, which is not good,” she explains. “He’s into everything. He runs. He babbles. He’s a good eater.”
Underwood went on to say that Isaiah is “an easy baby,” and when asked if she’d ever want to expand her family with her husband Mike Fisher, Underwood replied, “Oh definitely!”
With a laugh, she adds “I’m not sure when because we’re both kind of busy these days. But yeah, definitely. And I’m like, ‘He’s so good—I could do a few more of those.’”
