Claire Danes was at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday night where she talked to E! News’ Guiliana Rancic about her son, three-year-old Cyrus Michael Christopher.
Danes joked that spending time with Cyrus involves making a lot of silly faces.
“I just hang out with him and make dumb faces, which is what I do for a living anyway,” the Homeland actress shared.
And the struggle is real when it comes to television time with a three-year-old in the house. Danes admitted that she hasn’t really spent much time catching up on any of the new films or television shows over the past three years.
“I barely am able to watch my own show, my husband’s show,” Danes said. Her husband, Hugh Dancy is on the critically acclaimed Hannibal.
But Danes has made time for a few choice films, of course. “We took Cyrus to his first movie for his birthday in December, like a movie in the movie theatre. We saw Peanuts and it was maybe my first movie that I saw in the theatre since he was born.”
We get it, it isn’t easy getting out of the house, or controlling the remote, when you’ve got a little one with you. If you’re looking for a great family movie to help you get out of the house this year, we’ve got the best family movies that are hitting theatres in 2016.
