I never realized that People Magazine made this announcement annually. Guess I just wait for the Sexiest Man Alive issue to come out and forget about the chicks.
I wouldn’t argue People’s choice on this one. She is absolutely lovely. She seems it inside and out too – which as cheesy as that may sound really does make someone beautiful.
I agreed with some on their list – Blake Lively (ugh – hate to admit it); Rachel McAdams (future BFF); Angelina; Eva Mendes; Adele. All gorgeous.
I will say from a purely looks perspective, I saw a picture of Rosie Huntington Whiteley at Coachella….and honestly, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a more beautiful woman? Who the hell is this person?
The one thing I loved about the People issue is they did a feature on regular people and what they think is beautiful about themselves. (actually Marie Claire does this monthly as well and it’s a personal fave).
Considering I just saw a survey about the depressing low number of teen girls who were happy with their bodies (In 2010, 77% said there was something they would change!!!) I think it’s great to have these international mags focusing on what people like about themselves!
So two questions for you –
a. Do you agree with People? Has motherhood pushed Beyonce into the spot as the ‘worlds most beautiful’ celebrity? And who are they missing?
b. Think about yourself! What do YOU find your most beautiful inner or outer beauty thang? I’d say my eyes because there is a little fleck in both of them that both my mom and grandmother shared. And they change colour when I cry….so even if I have a good, ugly cry, my eyes go aqua so no one notices the red-puffy side effects…:)
Go on…we want to hear.
Nancy says
Beyonce is a beauty for sure. The most beautiful woman? I have no idea. I think it is all funny becuase it is so subjective.
I love my sense of humour. That is my beauty.
(Sara what about those crazy wash and wear locks????)
