New mom Chrissy Teigen has received some backlash on Twitter. The reason? A dinner date with her hubby John Legend. She stepped out nine days after Luna Simone was born, looking amazing in high-waisted black leather pants and a sheer shirt.
The couple visited The Nice Guy in West Hollywood on Saturday and shortly after Teigen was peppered with questions and criticism, people asking why she wasn’t with her baby. Many even commented that she shouldn’t be out at all so soon after giving birth.
Teigen isn’t afraid to face the hate. She responded, “I went to dinner. People are pissed. Good morning!” She knows who she is and does what feels right. She told PEOPLE of sharing her daughter on social media “I am conscious of what people want to see and what they don’t want to see, or what they see through completely.” Her awareness of the public’s perception of her and her family, along with her positive attitude, will come in handy for dealing with any further criticism.
And thankfully, Teigen is able to keep it light, adding humour to her tweets to offset the negativity. One person asked, “How’s baby Luna?” Her response: “I dunno I can’t find her.”

I’d like to hear the criticism about John Legend going out for dinner…..crickets…..that’s what I thought. Maybe that person in Winnipeg should call the authorities on them 🙂
