Sometimes it seems crazy to see siblings who are complete opposites from one another. I mean, they both came from the same place, they have basically the same upbringing, and yet one can be an introverted science fiend while the other is an outgoing sports fanatic.
But this is just reality. One that actress Ali Larter is starting to see more and more in her two kids.
“It’s amazing for me to see the difference between having a little girl and a little boy,” Larter told People on Friday while promoting her new film, The Diabolical.
Larter is mom to seven-month-old Vivienne Margaret and four-year-old Theodore Hayes and has been seeing a real distinction between their two personalities lately.
“My daughter is already so observant. You can give her a book and she will just sit and really look through it and touch it and explore it, where my son was really like, ‘Look at me, talk to me, play with me, give me your attention.’ He is just a force of nature, and she’s just like a sweet little angel and she asks for so little.”
The mother of two also found the second time around, caring for a newborn has been a little bit easier. But she’s also noticed the difference splitting her time and attention has made.
“I still feel bad because [Vivienne] doesn’t get nearly as much attention as Teddy did, and then you’re back to work and it’s busier than ever. There are two sides of the coin.”
Ain’t that the truth—the struggle and mom guilt that every mom faces!
Good thing Teddy is all about being a big brother.
“He makes her laugh, he plays with her, he helps give her her bottle. He’s so, so sweet with her. That four-year age difference has really worked out for us.”
So sweet!
