Fashion Week is one of my most favorite weeks in Toronto. It’s full of parties and pretty people and, of course, THE FASHION. I have been on the red carpet and at shows in the past, and this year, I am even more excited about it because this year I have VIP tickets FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK to give to YOU, one lucky UrbanMoms member!!!
During the week of October 18th-22nd, you will get the royal treatment…including VIP seating to the on-site shows, as well as admittance to the Fashion Environment. AND this grants you access into all afternoon and evening shows.VIP tickets are not available to be purchased and are usually reserved for designer guests, select media and other VIPs.

My Most fav trend right now, is that you can express your self in any way you like.
from Rocker Chick to Horse back riding it all looks good this year, and ofcourse Military is back with its classic trench coat, add some lace to mix it up and its something special.
I dont have a least fav trend they are all great! trends only look tacky when over done. Incorporate them into some of your classics and it works. for example add a leopard print belt to a black simple cocktail dress, and it works!!!

I had jeggings.
Anything that is as tight as leggings should not be worm as pants, so unflattering.
I don’t like the leopard prints that I see now. I do like the looks that are timeless and that I can wear year after year and still look put together.
I love flats. I get really annoyed that all the booties I love are opened toe – I think that’s impractical in this weather.

I love the return of plum purple. I wear it well and it’s timeless.
I love jeggings! They make me feel tall which isn’t easy since in am under 5 feet tall! I hate layering! It makes me feel like the house is burning down and I need to throw everything on before it all gets destroyed!
My least favourite trend is ripped jeans. Can’t stand them.
My least favourite fashion trend has to be underwear as outerwear. There is no way to make it not look cheap.
My favourite trends are the classic black and white look similar to that seen on Audrey Hepburn or Mad Men. To me that never goes out of style! I’m not a fan of fur or animal prints!
My most favorite trend currently is the back to 90s fashion.
I love the ‘in’ colours this season…jewel tones. My favorite? royal blue…it makes everyone look great!

My least favourite fashion trend right now is jeggings. Omg, they make me cringe.
Faux leather biker jackets, The Gap cotton boyfriend jeans, cashmere scarves, satchels

And let’s not forget, anything that is “Audrey Hepburn” Always classic
I am not however, a fan of denim on denim or overkill on the military look
Furry Vests are not on my list of “likes” this season, but if you can pull it off, go for it!
Least favourite trend I see for fall is all the fur trim on sweaters. Thinking I’m turning into my Mom cause all I can think is, “How do I clean that?”
Don’t like skinny jeans or leggings.
My least favourite fashion trend right now is leggings instead of pants. I understand wearing them under a dress or skirt, but instead of pants…come on!

my least favourite is the return of animal prints. leopard, giraffe, zebra, blah blah blah… haven’t we seen this one MILLION times before? maybe it was fresh in like, the Jurassic period when YSL did it? yawn. (getcher snark on! lol… i think all this rain has me in a grumpy mood, oop!)
I love the fact that neutral colours are making a comeback for fall, makes for a classy fashion statement
I liked the motorcycle look, but I do also love the sleek retro look of camel coats and gorgeous leather boots. I would love to have a pair of knee high boots for every day of the week.

Not so favourite – mixing prints (I’m a solids kind of girl… although, I’m kind of liking the leopard print…) and capes.

My least favorite trend is flat boots. I am a huge fan of sexy high heeled boots (and probably always will be!) ROAR!
Right now I’m loving jeggings, skinny jeans, coloured tights and all kinds of boots.
My most favourite are booties – I think they’re sexy and adorable at the same time! My least favourite is “military chic”… it was cute in the 90s, but now I think it’s just ugly.
least favourite is ‘hammer pants’ – i can’t understand some fashion trends!
Least favourite fashion item: those horrible, flat-footed, slovenly-looking UGG boots that young ‘uns wear with their baggy pants tucked into them…
My favourite fashion trend right now is the comeback of the poncho! My least favourite is a return of the jelly bag. Umm, no.

Fave trend…all the camel coloured pieces are so sophisticated but also timeless. It’s trend that you can definitely repeat with no issues. Oooh also the ladylike silhouettes and vintage inspired looks. It gave me huge inspiration this fall.
Least fave…maxi skirts. Too hard to pull off unless you’re thin and 6 ft. something and I am DEFINITELY neither.

My favourite fashion trend is the return to classic cuts and shapes and ladylike styles – they are flattering to so many women. The Mad Men influence is wonderful!
my least fave is the faux hawk for men- i think its so not cool for men in their 30’s….my fave are skinny jeans.
My favorite fashion trends are all of the gorgeous boots, and the amazing layering cardigans. My least favorite trend right now are the really short dresses and stillettos that the teens wear (a la Gossip Girl). Some of them look like they left their pants at home.
My least fave fashion trend these days are the ever shrinking “sizes” – I say that’s a trend because it seems to grow (er, shrink) more every year.. When I spot a pair of jeans that claim to be a size 00 I think we as a society have a problem with our fashion!

My favourite fashion trend is the “over the knee” boots! It’s so me….and so comfortable too.
