have you heard about Luminato?
Last year, Luminato – Toronto’s Festival of Arts and Creativity took centre stage as the world’s newest international multidisciplinary arts festival. The inaugural festival attracted over one million participants to over 100 events, including 10 world premieres, and 3 Canadian premieres. Luminato’s program encompasses a broad spectrum of creative expression including music, dance, theatre, film, literature, visual arts and lectures.
and this year, from June 6th-15th, it’s back and better than ever! and there’s lots and lots for you and your family.
the fine, fine folks at Luminato are kind enough to give us a fantastic family prize pack for one lucky Toronto winner!! the prize includes:
1. a family pack (4 tickets, valued at approx. $120) to Dan Zanes and Friends on June 15th, 4pm
2. a 1 year subscription to City Parent (valued at approx. $35)
3. a 1 year subscription to Fashion Magazine (valued at approx. $35)
to enter, all you have to do is guess something about me. The first time I visited Toronto, in 1996, the now-husband/then-boyfriend and i did something SUPER touristy. WHAT WAS IT? the first person to guess where we went wins this super awesome prize pack!!!
this contest, sadly, is only open to anyone who can be in Toronto on June 15th. but for those of you who can’t, don’t you fret…there is another contest coming your way at the end of the week!!!
Here are some other family-friendly show highlights:
Toronto Film Festival?
okay, one more….centre island?
ummmm, the bata shoe museum??
I’ve already guessed and I’m not sure if the rules allow me to make any more guesses, but I would REALLY love these tickets so here is another guess: Canda’s Wonderland. Hopefully this isn’t rude and I’m not sure if anyone has won yet, but I thought I’d give it aonther try.
Casa Loma?
oops, I just guessed the CN tower and then noticed it was already taken. If still possible, I will guess that you went to see a Blue Jays game at the Skydome.
I’m going to guess the CN tower as it is the most touristy thing you can possibly do in Toronto.
Was it Niagara Falls?
I’m guessing you went to the CNE.
Since the CN Tower is taken I will say you took a trip to see Niagara Falls… I hope not in a barrel though 🙂
Assuming I can only make one guess per comment, I’ll go with the most touristy thing in Toronto – going up the CN Tower.
