in other news…remember when Miss Hayden Panettiere had her Hawaiian red carpet meltdown? Well, like Christian Bale, and every other celebrities, with the help of a team of publicists, she’s all about cleaning up her messes. She tells OK! magazine,
“I have tremendous respect for the media and reporters — particularly
the press who treat the people they are interviewing with dignity. I am
appreciative that the press has supported me, my career, and especially
the causes I feel passionately about.”

And she insists stories about the alleged outburst have been
greatly exaggerated: “While in Hawaii, one reporter grabbed me suddenly
from behind and frightened me. It happens. Typically, the press has
treated me with great respect.”

and in other other news, Freida Pinto might be the next Bond girl. AWESOME.

i seriously have loved this girl since first glimpse in Slumdog Millionaire and think she’s absolutely STUNNING.

The Sun reports:
Executive producer Barbara Broccoli is eager for her to
join the cast — after earmarking Slumdog director Danny Boyle for the
top job.
A source said: “Freida came to the attention of the Bond team when they
were casting Quantum of Solace. She was too young at the time to have a
part as a love interest for a secret agent. But she has blossomed into
an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig’s arm. Danny Boyle is favourite to take the helm of the next
movie, which would increase Freida’s chances of a starring role.”
