Well, as I suspected on Thursday, there was more baby news to come before the week officially ended!
On Sunday, Us Weekly reported exclusively that British actress Sienna Miller, 30 apparently gave birth to her first baby with fiancé Tom Sturridge, 26. No comment has been made by the couple at the time that I write this and no further details were available. Wonder how creative this couple will be with the baby’s name?
Her fellow Brit, singer Lily Allen announced she’s expecting a second child, due in December, with husband Sam Cooper. The couple’s first child – Ethel May – was born last November.
While the Brits are having babies, across the pond their North American counterparts are having legal troubles.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes spent the weekend together in New York…at their lawyers offices! The two are trying to work out a divorce settlement. Oh, what I woudn’t give to be a fly on the wall during these talks, wouldn’t you? And considering Cruise just topped the Forbes list as the highest-paid actor for 2012 (he made a whopping $75M last year), Katie may be due for a big pay day.
And our very own Justin Bieber is giving Alec Baldwin some competition in the “paparazzi altercation” department. On Friday, The Biebs was pulled over by the police for speeding as he was trying to get away from the paparazzi. In return, Bieber has filed a harassment complaint over the weekend against one paparazzo claiming he was reckless and put lives in danger. Bieber himself was sued in May by a photographer who claims Bieber punched him.
Whew, got all that? I think we’re all caught up now. Makes for a rather exciting weekend, no?
