Everyone’s making a comeback this week – Sue Sylvester. Sam. Rachel Berry – while the Glee Club is working on Anthems, their theme for Regionals.
“Goodbye Cruel World. Yes Losers. I’m committing sue-icide.” Sue pops some pills, but pretty much just fails in her attempt to off herself and just ended up with a hot face and a sore jaw. And then, in a completely ridiculous turn, Sue joins the Glee Club, which results in a My Chemical Romance anthem in which Sue sports a plaid tracksuit and dances. (Read: perfection)
Sam is losing his hold on Quinn so he follows his dad’s rock n’ roll advice and creates The Justin Bieber experience, because, um, everyone knows that there’s no one more rock n’ roll than The Beebs. It works, because the women are swooning over the sweeping hairdo and the hoodies.
Rachel decides to pay Brittany to push The Rachel Look. This goes terribly wrong because Brittany wears legwarmers on her arms AND trendsets Rachel’s look at Mckinley, but nobody allows Rachel to take credit for the ensembles consisting of blunt bangs, headbands, tights, and plaid.
What will go down as one of the best scenes on Glee for me was when Lauren pictures the Glee club in their underwear. Finn wears a Power Rangers shirt. Sue wears a catwoman getup. Mr. Schue is in a vest and shorts. Rachel wears knee-his.
What we have this week, other than the absence of Kurt (boo!), folks, is PLOT MOVEMENT! Rachel and Mercedes have a diva-off to the tune of something awful from Rent. Sue decides that instead of feeling sorry for herself and singing with the Glee club, she will coach Aural Intensity at Regionals, because, after all, she’s got the music in her. Santana explains to Sam that Quinn DID actually make out with Finn and that he shouldn’t be with Quinn, he should be with Santana (she wants on his froggy lips). Finn thinks that the old Rachel is back.
Good solid episode, I thought, even though the music was mostly MEH and the Glee Club overused the word EPIC.

that underwear shot is hilarious – I must have been looking away from the TV at that point! I missed Kurt. I actually tweeted that Glee was jumping the shark with Sue being in on Glee club but it saved itself for me with the ending…now I’m intrigued. And I’m loving the ridiculous banter with Puck and Lauren…
