Sure, everyone who loves Celebrity Gossip loves to read about the Hollywood break-ups. We all love to say “I told you so!” when a hasty marriage/engagement/coupling ends. I mean…can we say Ryan Reynolds and ScarJo?
But we hardly ever celebrate the couples that actually, you know, WORK. Like the ones below, some of my most favorites…
1. Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos (14 years!)
2. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson (22 years!)
3. Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick (22 years!)
4. Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith (12 years!)
5. Warren Beatty and Annette Bening (18 years!)
I often wonder what it is that makes these relationships work…when it just seems like so much of Hollywood has a really hard time staying together.
I wonder if they do the same little things that my husband and I do to try to keep the romance alive. Do they have date nights? Do you they send each other, ahem, sexts when they are on set? Do they surprise each other with things like cookies or greetings cards…just because?
I never fully appreciated the importance of a greeting card – until now. A little card can be so meaningful. It can put a smile on my face when I’m feeling down. It can make a birthday even more special. And sometimes I wish I could write my very own greeting card.
Because, after all, I’m creative, I’m funny, I love greeting cards, and I’ve always wanted to write and design your own. And I know you do too! Because of this I am so excited to tell you about a contest that Hallmark has going on right now.
Now That’s Funny, Eh? is a contest that allows you to do all of the above while expressing the pride and knowledge you have in the place you call home. Head on over to the Hallmark homepage to enter to win all sorts of great prizes, including one of 24 cash prizes of $250 and your chance to see YOUR card in hundreds of Hallmark stores across Canada.
The contest ends on March 25th, 2011 so head over and enter! Go on…Go!

I am not one to keep up with celeb gossip, mostly because it’s always the same old, same old, and it frustrates me how most celebs seem to take marriage soooo lightly.
I really have alot of respect for Will and Jada though…they are so cute!

Love the Kelly and Mark too….what about Paul and Joanne? 50 freaking years! So amazing. I have to say Will and Jada normally drive me a bit nuts but how adorable were they watching their kid on the Grammys last night – amazing!!
