I sort of agree with Bonnie – I thought he was great – but sort of playing himself? and I looooved Barney’s Version and thought Paul Giamatti was great – BUT where the hell is Ryan Gosling?? He was Blue Valentine!!
I can’t wait to see that Javier Bardem film – the trailer looks incredible. Bring on the Oscars!!!
Ali says
Bonnie! I thought Jesse Eisenberg was fantastic as Mark Zuckerberg! I mean, I don’t think he’ll WIN, and I’m a little surprised that he snagged a nomination over, say, Paul Giamatti, but I think he did GREAT.
bonniesmith says
Jesse Eisenberg, The Social Network best actor? my god what has the world come to when a poorly scripted and acted movie is making it to the oscars, just plain terrible.

Christine!
The Social Network is out on dvd. You CAN see that one!
Christine says
I really don’t like how they bulk all of the movies in the Best Picture category together.
Saying that – I have not seen ANY of the above movies (nor did I see any Oscar worthy movies from last year)
I have not seen a movie in a theater in several years.
I’d like to see Blue Valentine, The Social Network and Black Swan.
But I doubt I will…
Tracey says
Maybe now that I don’t have newborns anymore, maybe I should start hosting an Oscar Party again this year… I always look forward to this list each year… YAY!!
