America’s Next Top Model – Top 6, Italy Bound

First we have Ann, who is 6’2 and is possibly the most awkward contestant to ever be on ANTM. She can barely walk on two legs, but girl can take a photo. I mean, she got first picture 5 times in a row. She had a really rough time not looking ridiculous while this photoshoot was going on, but the end product? Magic. 

Chelsey bugs me a little bit…but mostly it’s because of her platinum hair and the giant gap between her front two teeth, and unfortunately, Top Model did that to her. I do like how fangirl she got when they mentioned Missoni and all the other girls were like, “Hey, isn’t that what they sell at Target?” Girl knows her stuff, but sometimes it comes across as a little, um, desperate. Personally, I didn’t love this shot of her, even if Nigel enjoyed her smize. 

Jane is so beautiful it actually hurts to look at her, but her personality is kind of a little too vanilla for her. I thought that considering she had the unfortunate positioning of having to stand in the background in this shoot that she completely nailed it. She will tell you that it’s because she loves history, even though, um, WHAT?

They certainly work that lesbian angle into every single photoshoot with a man, don’t they? Yes, we get it. She is a lesbian. SO WHAT? Is it really THAT hard for her to be in a shoot with A MAN? I am not a lesbian, but I could pretend to like a woman if I wanted to WIN. Well, maybe Kayla remembered that this week because this is seriously the best I have ever seen her. Gorgeous.

Oh Chris. I adore her. She seems so ridiculously fun, even though the judges will never let her win. They think she’s cut out for TeenVogue (they have only mentioned it 147 times so far). I think she’s the next to go, but I enjoy her. 

Poor open-legged Liz. With the hoochie mama. She is, by far, my least favorite of the remaining six. It also kind of bothers me how in love with her “androgynous” looks Tyra is, but she is basically saying that Liz looks like a man. 

And the models got to visit and walk for model and designer and guest judge Margherita Missoni in Milan…

and all almost faint at panel. Seriously, what was up with that? With no real surprises, Liz and Chris are the bottom two, with Liz being the first one sent home from Italy to go and snuggle with her daughter and never put a weave into her hair.
