wow. The Bachelor last night was just embarrassing.
well, not the 2-hour season finale. THAT was just a waste of my time. and all of yours. it took two hours for us to see that he picked Melissa.
but, if any of you read my post last week, you’d know that this was following exactly what was supposed to happen. The drama wasn’t set to go down until AFTER the 2-hour finale, on the After the Rose, part 1.
and that’s exactly when it went down. During the first 30 minutes, we got to watch the most uncomfortable scene between Melissa, Jason Mesnick, and host Chris Harrison where Jason publicly, on national television dumps Melissa, blindsides her, tells her it’s not working, tells her he’s in love with Molly, and takes back her ring.
only, does anyone actually believe that this wasn’t a complete and total act??!?!
i mean. come on!
and then, during the final 30 minutes of the most historic After the Rose Episode EVER, we got to watch a second uncomfortable scene. only this one was way worse, because Molly forgot to go to acting school in the last 6 weeks.
of course. there’s no proof that this was all a set-up. There will never be any proof. You can believe Chris Harrison, who said this was all legit. REAL PEOPLE TRYING TO DEAL WITH REAL EMOTIONS or you can believe Reality Steve, who says this was all the doing of ABC, and that Jason had really picked Molly all along and they pulled this schtick to make a more interesting show and for ratings.
whichever ending you choose to believe, one thing is clear. Pretty much the entire world thinks that Jason Mesnick is a total asshole today.
I’m glad I didn’t commit any time to it.
I-I-I thought it was real? 😉 I SORT of believed it in the first part. But, when they brought out BAD-ACTING Molly (OMG), I thought again. Man, that Jason’s a great actor! Seriously!
I actually don’t think Jason’s an asshole. Only because I have a mad crush so am jaded….
