Zach Morris played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar
the smart-alecky king of the giant cellphone had trouble finding roles after the demise of Saved by the Bell. He even admitted to People magazine, "I was struggling to get a job." He eventually
won roles in The WB’s short-lived 1998 series Hyperion Bay and a
big-screen comedy of the same year, Dead Man on Campus. He got another breakthrough in 2001 when he was offered the role of Detective John Clark Jr. on the award-winning NYPD Blue. Gosselaar and his wife, who he met on the set of Saved By the Bell: The College Years, have two children. Up next? On the 2008 new series, Raising the Bar.
Kelly Kapowski played by Tiffani-Amber Thiessen
in 1994, Thiessen jumped from one hit show to another, choosing to shed her squeaky clean cheerleader Kelly Kapowski ways, by taking on the bad-girl role of Valerie Malone on Beverly Hills, 90210. (she also dropped the Amber from her name as well) After 90210, she went on to have recurring roles on several tv shows, including Two Guys and a Girl, Fastlane, and What About Brian? In 2005, she married actor Brady Smith.
AC Slater played by Mario Lopez
After his five years on Saved By the Bell, Lopez went on to do a long list of things…he acted in bit roles on The Bold and the Beautiful and Nip/Tuck, he took a turn at the hosting thing with shows like Name Your Adventure, Masters of the Maze, Will You Marry Me?, Pet Star, The Other Half and America’s Best Dance Crew, he even danced on season 3 of Dancing with the Stars. he says “I’ve always done everything. I just think of myself as an entertainer,
in all forms,” he says. “I just want to be as well versed as possible
and try to stay as busy as possible. If I sat around and waited by the
phone for certain things, I’m not going to be too busy. So, I either
try to create opportunities for myself and go out there.” He married Ali Landry, but
the marriage lasted for only a month before Landry had it annulled.
Lisa Turtle played by Lark Voorhies
Voorhies found her niche post-Lisa Turtle in soaps, first joining Days
of Our Lives and later The Bold and the Beautiful. She is single, and is promoting her production company along with a few of her business partners and is currently working Is currently working on a film adaptation of of the book The Black Man’s Guide to Understanding Black Women. Fun fact: she is mentioned on the first track of Ludacris’ 2001 album "Word of Mouf." He alleges that he has been "saved by more bells than Lark Voorhies." ha!
Screech Powers played by Dustin Diamond
After Bell‘s demise, there were rumors about what happened to everyone’s favorite tv-nerd. He says,
"My favorites were that I was actually Mike D from the Beastie Boys and
that I’d died." He was, however, on a few reality shows like Celebrity Boxing 2, Celebrity Fit Club, The Weakest Link and Hollywood Squares. In 2006 he claimed he was broke, leading to a bizarre situation where
he ran a scam selling $15 T-shirts to help pay for his house. Later
that year a sex tape was released, apparently purely as a publicity
stunt, despite the fact no one in their right mind would ever want to
watch Screech having sex. He continues to do stand-up, continuing to annoy people everywhere.
Jessie Spano played by Elizabeth Berkley
After her years at Bayside High, Berkely was turned down for the role of Rachel on friends and then went on to commit career suicide by starring in the shocking cult-fave Showgirls. I was left with this name and
