i bring you TWO pieces of news…
thing the first:
the sequel to the super successful Twilight, New Moon, is already set to go to
pre-production on December 15th. it’s quick, folks. so quick that the director
of the first movie, Catherine Hardwicke is going to have to bow out and not
return to direct the second follow-up film. According to insiders, she wanted
to time to make the movie GREAT; to make it better than the first
It is also happening too quickly for Taylor Lautner, who will not be
reprising his role as Jacob Black in the sequel. Summit Entertainment deemed
him too young-looking and slight of frame to play the maturing werewolf.
So,
now the hunt is on to find the person Native American young man who also has
good chemistry with Kristen Stewart. no problem…right?
thing the second:
Apparently, Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward the vampire, is too manly to be a model. He started out in the business as a model at age 12, but had to give it up for acting a mere 4 years later.
He tells Closer magazine:
"When I first started I was quite tall and looked like a girl, so I got
lots of jobs, because it was during that period where the androgynous
look was cool. Then, I guess, I became too much of a guy, so I never
got any more jobs. I had the most unsuccessful modelling career."

i agree…he totally didn`t work as Jacob for me either! i won`t be sorry he`s not in the second movie.
and jen, yes! sharkboy! hahaah!

I’m actually kind of glad he’s nto coming back; he looked really awkward as Jacob, a little TOO awkward for Jacob… jsut wasnt’ convincing for me. THen again, I don’t like their Bella choice either; if Anna Popplewell could fdo American I think she’d have been good, or Kat Dennings sexed down.
Jen says
This goes to show you the fine films we watch in my house – isn’t that kid, Taylor Lautner, Shark Boy??
Haley says
*Kristin Stewart 😉
I do NOT like Taylor Lautner (or Jacob, for that matter), so I am all good with him not returning.
