shocking news: John Tavolta’s son Jett, 16, dies in the Bahamas

January 2, 2009 by Unknown

i hate to bring you such sad news thisclose to everyone’s New Year celebrations…but i had to tell you that John Travolta’s oldest, Jett, died today while vacationing with the family in the Bahamas.

Jett

According to sources, Jett was last seen going into the bathroom at their private suite at the Old Bahama Bay Resort sometime yesterday. The body was discovered by the caretaker, Jeff Michael Kathrein, at 10:00 AM today. The report says Jett suffered from seizures.

An autopsy is being performed to determine the exact cause of death.

Michael Ossi, the Travolta’s attorney, told CNN that Jett’s death "was completely out of the blue."

"John and Kelly are happy when their children are happy. This is the worst day of John’s life," the lawyer said. Preston’s half-brother, Chris Palzis, told OK! magazine: "We’re all devastated. It’s definitely a bad time. That’s all I have to say."
