I think my 13 yr old self is just fine where she is 😉 And I get that she wants to be a vampire, so her heart stops beating. But what I don’t get is how all of this is appealing? Honestly, I’m not trying to be funny. I really don’t get it. Out of curiosity (& wondering what the HUGE deal was about….my Entertainment Weekly cover had been taken over sooooo many times by these movies) I rented the first movie. IMO it was terrible. I remember thinking “Well, that’s 2 hrs of my life I will never get back.” Bella was just a whiny, mopey teen, who was willing to give up any of her own identity (not that I’m quite sure she had that to begin with) for an aloof & creepy gray guy. And from what I can gather the writing is fairly painful as well. I’m thinking that people really can’t explain it to me. I guess you get it, or you don’t. I’m one of the few middle-aged Moms (eeeekkkk, I’m a middle aged Mom!!!) who just doesn’t.

BOO! You need to channel your 13 year old self. Don’t be such an old lady 😉 Plus, it is her heart because she is going to be a VAMPIRE and their hearts don’t beat. Like, duh.

I don’t know Jen, “I’m gonna fight for you, ’til YOUR heart stops beating.” Sounds fairly stalker-ish & not in the least bit appealing to me. But you know me, I’m just an old spoil-sport!!!
