Lise Watier is a Canadian treasure. The company will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year, and I’m told there really is a glamourous woman named Lise Watier who continues to oversee all operations. And the company continues to impress with great products and innovative technology.
This week Lise Watier has launched a new product that is so cool and so genius, I’m tempted to tag this post in the engineering category (if I had such a category!!), and not just beauty.
Take a look at this foundation. Teint Parfait 12 Hour Glam comes in six shades, and promises a full day’s coverage. It’s got a silky smooth texture, dries quickly and gives a nice natural coverage. I’ve tested it out and it does a great job of living up to its hype, giving me smooth medium coverage from daycare drop-off to Girls Night Out.
What I adore most about the product though, is the packaging. The foundation cap contains a colour match concealer and mini mirror. This takes the product, with one flick of the lid, from “good and I’d use it at home” to “awesome and I’d throw it in my bag every single day”. Maybe even “I’d buy a second tube so that I never find myself without”.
It retails for $45, and as the delightfully French makeup artist at the product launch told me, “how you say…a little goes a lot”!
In the interest of full disclosure, Trend Watch is written by me; all opinions are my own. It is not sponsored. Sometimes I am given free products to review and sometimes I purchase the products all on my own. Lise Watier gave me a free sample of this product, but I was not compensated for my review.
