I don’t own many dresses (hard to find a good fit) but I adore this jersey cotton dress. I bought it two years ago, and I still find it a good fit for me.
I love the open neckline, and the hem hits me in the right spot for a small person such as myself. It’s machine washable and it doesn’t require any kind of ironing. (WIN!) I toy with the idea of removing the buttons down that one sleeve, but then sometimes I’m so glad they’re there… I’ll just leave them alone.
It’s warm, but not scorching hot outside today, so I’m wearing ballet flats and a flower… it’s still spring, after all. But it looks equally cute with flip-flops, or over a bathing suit. (TOTAL WIN!)

Indeed, Alice – the lady makes some VERY good shoes!! This is my second pair of her ballet flats, and I got those awesome cork sole wedges in grey suede… completely darling!

I love dresses, and now that summer has hit and I’ve caught up with it with the painted toes and smooth legs, I’m all about dresses and skirts.
and does Jessica Simpson not make the best shoes? Not a huge fan of her former career, but girl puts her name on some cute, comfy stuff.

You know Jen, I thought a flower would be ridiculous too (really, I did) but whenever I wear one, the compliments are plenty. Not one or two, but, like, fourteen different people tall me how nice/fresh/lovely it looks. STRANGERS, yo! So, maybe not so ridiculous… and youre to tall, I think one would look awesome on you!
I dont have much hair… so, accessories rule. 😉
Julie says
id probably wear that out to a party and end up with the 1/4 tuck 🙂
lovely as always!

How DO you do it?! I think the flower would look silly on me. I think when we meet I am going to bring my whole wardrobe and you can help me accessorize!
