Planting a Seed

“From a small seed a mighty trunk may grow.”

 – Aeschylus

Welcome to She’s So Green! With this blog, I am hoping to plant seeds in you, my readers. Seeds of inspiration on how to live a greener life, on how to live lightly and leave behind a planet rich with life and beauty for our children’s children.

Living green is intimidating, isn’t it? What to buy [or not], what to do [or not], who to trust? There’s quite an eco-bandwagon these days, and every company is trying to get a slice of the pie. Join me on a journey to simplify this green lifestyle, to make it easy and accessible, and most of all, budget-friendly. I will share with you my own quest to reduce my family’s footprint in a reasonable way, with everything from kids’ crafts with recycled items to green product reviews to DIY projects that are simple and easy. I want to take the intimidation out of an environmentally-friendly lifestyle, and show that you don’t have to be a paisley-wearing, peace-flag-waving, long-haired hippie to make greener choices and show Mother Earth a little love.

Let’s plant some seeds together, and see how they grow.
