Chances are very few of us are getting all the nutrients we need daily the natural way – through food. WHY? Due to lack of time and not enough energy to make the effort to do so, therefore we need SUPPLEMENTS!

So now how does any of this relate to my McDonald’s experience?
Well McDonald’s was one of the first restaurants, especially being fast food, to have NUTRITION TABLES up on display at all restaurants, on some menu items and on the back of their tray liners. McDonalds.ca Nutrition Calculator has extensive nutrition information on their site, ranging from the ingredients in their foods, nutrient amounts as per daily % values, facts about their foods and information on making informed nutritional choices.
The Nutrition Calculator has every McDonald’s menu item and allows you to put together your meal by the click of your mouse and lets you know exactly what you are eating. How neat is that? I thought it was very open and informative of McDonald’s to offer this important info to us all, as every single restaurant should!
