When I reflect on the past year I can’t help but think of the fond memories and experiences from my McMom adventures. 2009 was a year to remember.
It’s almost 2010 – crazy isn’t it? We all have wishes, desires and hopes for the holidays and New Year. So what’s on your wish list??
Here are some of mine…
1) Stay motivated with my exercise program throughout the holidays.
2) Eat healthy, but allow for small indulges – tools like the McDonald’s nutrition calculator www.mcdonalds.ca/NutritionCalculator/index_en.html are a great way to stay on track!
3) Easy-does-it with the boozy woozy…
4) Always remember, refined sugars and whites sugars are baaaad…
5) FORGIVE MYSELF FOR ANY WISHES NOT MET!
So how am I going to follow through with these five goals? Hmmmm…
• Put a picture on my fridge of an ideal physique I am hoping to attain one day.
• Add in my exercise program for each day on my to-do list. Plan, plan, plan.
• Drink slowly, put the drink down during sips, and focus my attention on guests at the parties, not on the food and drinks
• Dance? Always!
• Eat a snack, like apple slices or almonds and drink water 15 minutes prior to attending each party.
• Oopsy?…Well there is later, or tomorrow to resume good habits. We’re all not always perfect and sometimes life needs some slack and a good relaxing break to carry on.
Happy Holidays!
