The first two people when I arrived at our welcoming party in Toronto in October 2008, were George Cohon, founder of McDonald’s Canada also the man who took McDonald’s to Russia in the late 80’s, and the current president of McDonald’s Canada, Mr. John Betts. These two men were truly excited to meet me, wanted to know all about me, and made it very, very clear I was to ask any question at any time. I have often heard it said that attitude starts at the top. At McDonald’s that is true and over the course of the past months this top brass attitude has been reiterated over and over again. McDonald’s wants to know what we think and they truly want to hear our (your) questions. When we were in Edmonton, one of the moms asked the question, “how can a slaughter be humane?” We got (and even saw) the answer! McDonald’s wants to hear us ask the questions on behalf of all the moms across Canada. So to all the moms everywhere, please send us your questions and we will work hard to find the answers. And, don’t be shy!!!
And we do not hold back when we ask our questions! We always throw of the time itinerary because we want to know every detail!
