Remember a little while ago, when I wrote a post about how Pea saw me come down the stairs wearing my new cap and told me I look like I should be driving a train?
Well, it happened again. This time, I was wearing this shirt:
So, one of three things is happening here.
- Pea picked up on the western theme of my shirt, which made her think of the old-timey wild west, which made her think of trains, which makes her a friggin genius.
- She has a really messed up idea of what train conductors wear to work.
- She really hates the clothes I wear and is pulling hard for me to get a better wardrobe.
I choose to believe #1.
As a reminder, here’s the hat I had on last time…
ALL ABOARD!

I like the shirt, I think my DH needs one. I don’t see “train” at all!!

That’s a great thought Jennifer, but I witnessed both incidents and there was definitely a “tone” that implied otherwise 🙂 That’s ok, Shawn. At least we can say that she’s not afraid to voice her opinion. Both the shirt and hat are ok by me, if that makes you feel better.
Jennifer says
Perhaps in her mind, the train conductor is the epitome of male style (something about a man in uniform…), and any time she sees you lookin’ good, she is reminded of the train conductor??
Sara says
my thoughts exactly Tracey…
Tracey says
That shirt rawks, Cowboy. Believe it. (But just promise not to wear it with the hat. Heh)

Woo Whooooooo! (train horn blowing).
Perceptive little girl, Pea is.
