A Cup of Cheer

December 27, 2012 by Amanda

We just got back from a wonderful family holiday at the ski hill. It was relaxing and fun and so special to share such great memories with our extended family in such a lovely setting.

On Christmas Eve we went to the ski village where there was a huge bonfire, a parade of skiers who were holding torches as they schussed down the slopes, then Santa and Mrs. Claus came down the hill in a lit-up snowcat to hand out gifts to all the kids. Pretty awesome.
Then we came back to the cabin and I set to preparing 47 pounds of greasy appetizers and making a batch of mulled wine. I had never made mulled wine before, but it was very easy and I think you should try it!

The recipe I used can be found here: Best Ever Spiced Mulled Wine

I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas holiday with your family!
