Having a baby has become such a consumer-driven endeavor in recent years. There are so many trendy accessories, modern crib bedding choices, baby-wearing options and designer diaper bags to choose from, most of which are all astronomically priced. In today’s economic climate, few us of are able to partake of such delicacies, but I’m going to let my mind dream about all the things I would buy for this next baby-raising experience, if money were no option.
This Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag. It’s so classy and big and vintage looking! Love it!
A post-baby boob job. I’m not kidding. Nothing porn-starry, just a little life restored to the tired crepes. I’ve got the bottom half of an hour-glass figure, I just need the top to balance it out a tad.
A complete J. Crew wardrobe, starting with some really nice fat pants, then buying smaller sizes as need be, as those post-baby pounds just melt away (ha!).
A MAID. If I had help with my (lousy excuse for) housekeeping, I would be a much happier woman, and thus a better mother.
And so ends my list of things that shall never be. It’s fun to dream, though!
What would you add to your mothering experience if you had all the money in the world?

I’ll take the boob job, thanks… Nothing like having two empty shopping bags hanging off my chest where my boobs used to be… Ugh.

I’d spend money on someone to come in meal-prep for me. Good, healthy meals for my family. I can cook and I enjoy it. But everything tastes better when someone else makes it. And I also wouldn’t wonder how much of my life is wasted preparing food that ends up in the compost. It can be someone else time wasted.

I want it all, and I’m not even pregnant! 🙂

I would hire a person to take my children to the park and every 3.5 minutes yell “great job” and “Yes, doing the monkey bars is hard” and “good swinging”.
The park makes me want to PEEL MY SKIN OFF.
My answer would be to hire a professional PARK BABYSITTER.

I’m with Jen..tummy tuck and also a boob lift. I don’t want any more just back where they’re suppose to be! LOL. Then, a few “baubles” from Cartier as keepsakes. The rest would be socked away for emergencies and future care of parents/in-laws…cause growing up is freaking me out.

Tummy tuck. I’m afraid of the surgery so even if I could afford it I would probably never do it but boy would I love a flat tummy!

my mind boggles at the luxury. What I really want right now, or before baby comes, is for the new windows sitting in my yard to be installed in my house, some dry wall over the ugly yucky trailer walls that greet me every day, some pretty paint on that dry wall, some tile over the MDF on my bathroom floor, a comfy rocking chair and a dish washer. These are the things I’m dreaming of that will become reality some day soon I hope. They are all so close I can almost taste it. Even the dish washer is sitting with a little smirk outside beside our shed, chuckling to itself as I was dishes by hand 3 times or more a day. Ugh. I can’t wait until I pinch myself and find I’m not dreaming any more.

Definitely the maid!
A wonderful nanny/babysitter that I could use just when I need her…to run errands, take a nap, have lunch with a friend (which would also require more money), etc.

a cook…not all the time as i really love to cook but sometimes you just want something done, now! let’s say a cook three times a week, i want to keep it real….a cleaning lady, however, would be DAILY!!!
