Horseshoe Resort Girlfriend Weekend-join me?

Fun and  relaxing events are always difficult to justify in a busy life.

There is never a good time to take a break.
We women often give to ourselves last.
If you have a family, going away means you wipe yourself out trying to make your departure and absence seamless.
If you work, turning off  work for the whole weekend can be so tough as well.
Sometimes you think- I can’t possibly do that at a time like this
That is precisely when you need to take a break and do something fun. A little gift for yourself. An investment in yourself.
This weekend I am going to Horseshoe Valley Resort to attend the Girlfriend Getaway Weekend.
I am really excited- if I tell you what I have to do Friday to get there you would tell me “Nance, it is not worth it”. ( I am driving to Kingston at 6 am to pack up daughter, check out her new house, drive home, unpack her, attend a quick meeting, then teach an art class, blah blah blah)  It is totally worth it. I know from experience that any break in my routine renews me in a way that is renaissance like.

Besides, just look at some of the wonderful events planned for me and try to imagine how good I will be at soaking it all up

Champagne reception Friday night
Psychic reading (love this)
Healthy buffet breakfast
Yoga class
Cooking class
Spa (I can hardly say that word without crying)
Dinner
And that is just the beginning. I am really excited. I had been trying to figure out what treat to give myself this month (to offset my recent unfun gifts) as part of my big birthday year. This is it.
I can’t wait to tell you all about it. I won’t leave a single, delicious detail out.
In the meantime, there are a few spots left- why don’t you join Cayla and me ?
For more information take a look here
or call 1-800- 461-5627

My accommodations for this Girlfriend Weekend will be provided by Horseshoe Resort.
