This morning I decided what I would do if I won an obscene amount of money in a lottery.
After donating a pile of it to help African orphans and my friends, I decided that I would hire my own personal hair brusher. What a great gig! Anyone want it? You’d only have to work for half an hour every three days. I spend a good chunk of my morning prep time trying to get a brush through my hair, only to wash it and have to start all over again. There is a massive amount of swearing involved. Oh how decadent it would be to have someone just do it for me!
You’d also have to be available to come over and brush it when I feel sick. My mom used to do that and it was the most relaxing and comforting thing. I miss that.
I wrote about my hair issues a couple years ago…or rather a ‘How I Came to Embrace the CRAZY.’ (I’d go take a look for some bad pics). Since then, it’s gotten long. Really long. My grandmother used to say that a family of squirrels could live in my hair and I’d never know it. It used to piss me off. Well…a couple days ago I found a barrette in it. I hadn’t worn a barrette in a couple days. I think that Moo Moo may have been on to something. Perhaps I should take a side job as a smuggler.
I was looking at Michelle Williams hair the other day and I was itching to chop mine all off again. I’m getting my hair done tomorrow…hmmmmm.
Go for it?
Don’t freak…I’m not going to do it but it’s oh so tempting. Have you ever chopped it all off?

Well, you know how much of a problem MY hair is…
Your hair is great. Voluminous, but really, really pretty. Don’t hack it until you contract head lice from Will’s school. *snort*

i had short hair for about 20 years and, although i know it suits me better, it is harder to take care of than longer. now i can ponytail it, just put the bangs back, hat it….when it was short (and mine is soooo thick) it would just stand up straight so i looked like my dad’s 60’s yearbook photo.
i love your long hair, curly look. just remember what happened to “felicity”…her ratings dropped 😉

I have think curly hair and last year my mom convinced me to cut it all off. My parents always said my face was small and that the hair took over. (im 43 and they still tell me what to do). So I was needing a change and did the short look to surprise them…14 inches cut off. It was a huge difference, so much lighter and healthier and I felt good. I loved it but it was a bit short so I have been growing it. So, change is good and your hair will grow back if you dont like it. Just go to a great hair dresser who knows curly hair..and products make a difference too…moisturizing is important.
Good luck with your decision!

I have never gone boy short, but last year I was being harassed by my family members to cut my hair….so I said to my sister….”when your son comes home from the hospital I promise to cut my hair” when he passed away….I cut 12 inches and donated it….best thing I ever did in my entire life….now my hair is long enough to be in a pony tail again…short hair is much easier to manage, although its terrible in the winter because you get hat head…..if you don’t care, than go ahead…or wait for summer….remember it always grows back!! Btw, you’ll beautiful with either style…

Have you heard of the Deva Curl system? My girlfriend sells it at her store Ellenoire in Dundas and online. She even has a Curly Hair Salon! Yep just for curly headed people like you. Embrace the curls! I think it looks good short or long.
We are slaves to our hair. We hide behind it and we think it protects us. It doesn’t. It’s just hair. 🙂
If I won the lotto…I’d take my WHOLE family (extended included) on a trip to Disney World!

Hey ya. We have similar hair. Chopped it off about 7 years ago. I felt so strangely weird about it all. I was not keen on the super short thing, but liked it when it grew in a bit.

you have an exquisite face, beautiful skin – you could sport any cut BUT you have magnificent hair that TOTALLY suits your personality and life- KEEP IT blond and curly for me
signed frizzy and grey (as in if I didn’t colour and blow dry I might look like Margaret Atwood)
