5 years or 1,825 days or 43,800 hours …. whoa.
It all started 5 years or 1,825 days or 43,800 hours ago. I got pregnant.
I was talking to my friend Steph today about being pregnant and giving birth and then I looked at the calendar and went – hold up – it’s conception day! November 29 and 30. My two-days of legs in the stirrups. Shooting for those three eggs that were ‘looking real good Sara’. Those three eggs that I watched grow over a week. Those three eggs that got a release boost from the shot my step-mother gave me in the belly – the one my ‘not so medically inclined’ father thought she was giving me in the whooha.
Thankfully one of those eggs really liked the sperm I chose and said, ‘let’s party’! A week later, that egg and sperm made their union official with a positive blood test. Incredible. Life has never been the same.
Last weekend, that egg told me he loved me more than peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. This morning, that egg told me to ‘sit in the rocking chair and help me write a letter to Santa.’
Anything for you egg. Anything for you.
