Green is my favourite colour.
You wouldn’t know it unless I told you. There isn’t a whole lot of green in my house. I don’t have any green rooms, or linens or walls. I just love the colour.
So much so that I have a board on pinterest called Green makes me feel good
It really does make me feel good. Simply put – green makes me happy.
I don’t wear a whole lot of green, but I decided that I was going to buy a pair of coloured jeans this spring. I had a vision in my head of the jeans that I wanted. The specific colour – the specific green. I was planning on searching for the perfect pair when I spend the weekend downtown with my girlfriends later this month. Surely I’d be able to find the perfect pair in the big city. God knows there isn’t much here in suburbia.
Or so I thought.
Yesterday Eva and I were having a lovely time meandering around our little mall with no real purpose. We walked through Winners because there are always neat things to look at in there.
And there they were.
And there they were.
As though they were waiting for me. The perfect colour. The perfect pair. The perfect price.
I didn’t hesitate. I slung them over my arm and claimed them as mine.
Now that I’ve found the jeans, I suppose I’ll have to shop for a couple of cute tops and some shoes to go with them during my girls weekend.
Also – if me dedicating an entire post to a new pair of jeans doesn’t prove how UNfashion savvy I am, I don’t know what will.
I was so excited about these jeans that, once home I immediately iMessaged a pic of them to my friend telling her “I am in love”.
I really think I need to get out more.

A good find is ALWAYS exciting, and when you find exactly what you are looking for at Winners, it feels like fate. Yay!

i love it when a plan comes together! my usual thing is i actually have money to shop…go shopping and there’s nothing there. when i have zero cash, and wander around a mall…everything is my size and 75% off. makes the green jeans all the more precious!
