So much for “sleep-in Sunday”. I usually sleep in til about 9 or so while Sean gets up with the kids and makes breakfast. Then he makes a Tims run. Then I get up and watch Coronation Street all morning. Or at least I try to. Usually Treehouse or Playhouse Disney wins out over Corrie by 11am.
YES – I totally know how lucky I am.
This morning Cuyler came into my room at 6:25am, very distressed and asking “Is the sun coming out?”
Horrible, sleepy me told him to go into Cam’s room and ask Daddy. And he did.
(Daddy was at poker until late last night so he slept in Cams room and Cam slept with me)
From then he cried and shouted for the sun to come out.
At around 8am I noticed that the house was unusually quiet. Silent actually. Peeked out the window and noticed the van was gone.
Sean took them out for breakfast.
I’m pretty sure he’s feeling guity.
Last night he spilled a glass of gingerale directly onto the keyboard of my laptop. After watching the screen do some funky things, we tried to restart it. It shut off and will not turn back on. Although I have access through Sean’s laptop, I feel incredibly disconnected not having all my own stuff and my bookmarks and my pictures…
I may need a new one. While it would be nice to have a new laptop, we really can’t afford it and I like my laptop. Even with it’s missing “D” and “E” keys.
Too bad I’m not eligible for THIS! (Have you entered yet??)
I logged on to check my facebook and realized that my profile picture had been changed. I did not change it…

Apparently Cuyler knows how to use the webcam.
And lastly – a confession. As I sat and wrote this post at 8:30am I ate a bag of M&M’s. Best breakfast I’ve had in weeks!
It’s supposed to rain all day today. It’s gonna be a long one. For now I am going to enjoy the peace and quiet
Okay seriously – can we be best friends? I miss the Corrie since having Will…best way to spend the morning ever and with m&ms even better. I laughed very hard at the ‘sleep in till 9’ – think back about 10 years, would you have ever thought that 9am counted as sleeping in??
Hrmm…it’s been 24hrs.
Still no sign of life. I give it until tomorrow morning. If it’s still dead then we may need to go shopping.
