The grill is an awesome cooking appliance (my favourite!), but it’s not perfect. Corn on the cob tends to get dried out when grilled from start to finish. By parcooking it first in water, and finishing it on the grill – you get the best of both worlds.
When corn is in season it can really steal your meal’s spotlight. So sweet and flavourful! Try whipping butter with chile powder, or any of your favourite spices to really wow your backyard guests.

Preparation:
- Remove husks and silks from the corn and submerge in a large pot of boiling water. Cook the corn for 10 minutes, until barely tender.
- Preheat grill to Medium heat. Remove corn from water and brush with olive oil or butter, and grill until slightly charred on all sides, about 2 minutes.
