This is my backpack. I am in love with my backpack.
I realize that it isn’t high fashion and that I look like a total college student when I’m schlepping around with my lime green backpack, but I refuse to change my ways. I’ve tried more “grown-up” looking bags and briefcases but I have yet to find anything as comfortable, versatile or efficient as my backpack.
One of my favorite features is the number of pockets. There are just enough to keep things separated but not enough that you spend 15 minutes searching through every pocket trying to remember where you put something. It has a padded slot made for laptops (bonus: it’s big enough to hold a folder of papers as well which keeps them from getting wrinkled). There is also a neat little pocket right at the very top for holding your cell phone or keys and it also has a little slot to hold an mp3 player (complete with feed hole for your headphones).
I use this bag for all of my travels because I can carry all of my electronics and their accessories in it with room to spare. The padded straps make it comfortable to carry even when fully loaded. It’s especially nice when flying because I can put it on my back, steer my rolling suitcase and still have an arm free when rushing through the airport.
I cannot tell you how glad I am that I gave up the notion of looking more professional and grown up and settled for comfort and efficiency.
