Yes everyone, the rumours are true — Jennifer Garner has a baby bump! But no, she’s definitely not pregnant.
The 42-year-old actress was the centre of much tabloid speculation this past August when she stepped out in a series of looser fitting tops, hiding what many people believed was a baby bump. And while Garner’s rep quickly shut down all the pregnancy rumours, the actress decided to ease speculation on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” on Wednesday. She also did it in the best way possible.
“Apparently, I have a baby bump. And I’m here to tell you that I do,” she announced on the talk show. Now before the audience could get too excited, Garner cleared things up even further.
“Hold up! I am not pregnant but I have had three kids and there is a bump,” she explained to DeGeneres. “From now on ladies, I will have a bump and it will be my baby bump. Let’s just all settle in and get used to it. It’s not going anywhere.”
To be fair, I didn’t see a bump — Garner looked phenomenal. But her interview just further goes to show how Hollywood forces it’s unrealistic beauty standards on it’s talent. I mean, heaven forbid that actresses like Garner carry a few extra pounds in their midsection. And even if that’s the case for Garner, she has no problem with it. As it should be!
“I have a bump. It’s name is Violet, Sam, Sera,” Garner said proudly, referring to her three children. All of whom she had with Ben Affleck, by the way.
Baby bump or not, we appreciate Garner’s realness. Be a proud mama, and rock those curves Jen!
