It’s absolutely, unabashedly gorgeous outside! The past few days have been spectacular, and what a boon to the senses. I feel uplifted and energized by the sun. The Baby and I have enjoyed several mornings of long walks, and playing in the leaves. At nineteen months, her personality is blossoming and it is so fun to watch her evolve – in front of my eyes – into the little person she is destined to be.
This week marked the beginning of planning for my twenty-year high school reunion. Even writing down those words – it seems bizarre that it’s been that long. I’ve been on the phone and email with old friends, reconnecting and planning again after all these years. I am lucky to have had a great high school class, and to still be close with many of my friends from those years, even though we’re spread apart geographically. I’m eagerly awaiting the chance to revisit those precious days, and to go home to St. Stephen, New Brunswick, my beautiful hometown on the east coast.
I’m going to look for some pictures from high school and try and post them on my next blog – I’m in nostalgia mode.
We’ve got no big plans for the weekend. With hockey, soccer, Sunday school and the Baby’s nap schedule, it’s always hectic. I’m looking forward to some down time with my Husband and to going to the gym. I’m eager to check out some holiday decorations at the mall – I love it when the city goes into festive mode!

Hasn’t this weather been great! And then it must come to an end. I hear we’re in for wintery weather before long. It’s so wonderful to get out and walk in the cool air when the sun is shining, though! Ahhh…
I, too, love the festive season. I know things can get frantic but with the right perspective and a warm heart, the season can be truly enjoyed for what it is!
Have fun planning for your reunion! Fun times!

What a wonderful way to describe that amazing time when your babies become their true selves!
