Florida is the top destination for many families. It is far enough away that you can escape winter but the travel is straightforward and the options for families are endless.
From the moment we told our children about our upcoming family trip to Florida the excitement seemed to build by the hour. Not even our 4:30am wake up to make our early flight dampened their spirits. We had known that the Disney part of our trip would mean ongoing smiles and fun for our kids. And we knew the beaches of Clearwater would be guaranteed entertainment but we had no idea about the variety of countless moments of fun and excitement we would have.
Many of these are the times you can never plan for. I will write a more detailed post of the fabulous places we visited and our suggestions for travelling with a 3 and 5 year old but I wanted to include photos of some of these unplanned and simple moments which have lead to some of our best family memories to date.
