I’ll be honest. Although I was looking forward to the Ottawa Cuisinart Kitchen Party I didn’t really expect it to be much different from the last. What was I thinking?! Each one of these events has been unique. You know why? Because of the people!
I have been lucky enough to have met some of the the most amazing women Canada has to offer and Ottawa was top of the list! This dynamic group was led by our hostess Jen and her pal Tara whose fabulous kitchen was ours (well, Chef Ezra’s actually) for the evening. Chef Ezra did it again changing up the menu to include cool summer options perfect for entertaining as the temperature rises! (recipes below)
These gals laughed, ate, and chatted throughout the night while enjoying some simply divine wine thanks to our pals at Wolf Blass. We enjoyed select wines from their Bilyara Reserve and more than one of us was intrigued by the unique and environmentally friendly PET (polyethelene therephthalate) packaging!
Plus, the next day I got an amazing email from the amazing Kimberley (pictured above enjoying Chef Ezra’s cool summer soup – recipes below) with this quote: Laughter is an instant vacation. by Milton Berle. Don’t you L.O.V.E. it?! That was basically the theme for the night…good friends, good food, and good fun!
