My name is Karen Hazan and I am the owner of Kozy & Co. Inc.. I manufacture and sell the KozyRoo which is a stroller bunting bag for children from the age of 6 months to 4 years of age. It all started with a simple idea. I was looking for a way to keep my son Jake warm and cozy during the cold winter months and couldn’t find anything that was suitable. I was tired of fussing with blankets and snowsuits so I made a bunting bag for my son and moms everywhere started asking me to make a bunting bag for them. I soon realized there was a market for the KozyRoo, a stylish yet functional way of making lives a little bit easier. In 2004, I incorporated. Currently, you can find other bunting bags in the market but the KozyRoo is unique in many ways. It is Canadian made, has two-way zippers to expose slushy boots, a removable front cover for warmer days, fits 3 and 5 point harness systems, is machine washable and made of corduroy and fleece with batting for extra comfort and warmth. The best part of being a mommy entrepreneur is that I have flexibility and get to spend more time with my kids. Isn’t that what we all want???
