I am a very ovrweight 36 yr old with a demanding job, teenagers and hubby. I was in a car accident last ear & have had o have surgery back in March. I have very bad back, should & neck pain ever since. Due to the medications I have been on, I now have non alohlic fatty liver diesese (my liver enyemes are over 325 instead of 5-15 as per normal) My spleen and liver are enlarged. My gall bladder is coming out this week. I just got over 6 weeks of C-Diff which caused me to loose 25 lbs in 6 days. Now what? I want to continue to loose weight but am not sure what to do next.

Hi kenachristine!
First of all, so sorry you are having so many health challenges. I wish I could offer you a simple solution for losing weight but what with all that you have and are still going through I would highly recommend you seek the assistance of a professional who can guide you through this safely. Perhaps you can ask at the hospital if there is a Dietitian on staff that can help you through this. The reason I say this is that an important part of weight loss is to focus on becoming healthy (so that you can exercise and are able to make healthy food choices). If you aren’t feeling well you will have a hard time not only starting but maintaining a weight loss program. So, while you are waiting to see someone instead of focussing on weight loss, perhaps it is the time to focus on getting healthy (an end result will always be weight loss).
ps-I know you have neck and shoulder pain but are you able to do any exercise at all? A daily walking program may be an excellent start.
