First of all I just want to say THANK YOU so much for all of your advice on what I should wear to my partay this weekend! Your comments and emails and votes were very helpful. So…as Haley-O says on Cheaty’s Celebrity Gossip…CHECK IT!
The party was great fun! I took your advice and wore the black dress with a splash of colour (couldn’t find a belt that worked on such short notice but will definitely keep my eye out as this is a great suggestion). Also, I chose the boots as I thought the shoes made the whole outfit a bit more dressy…glad I did too as a lot of people were in jeans. See the new short hairdo? I’m not quite sure what I think of it yet.
Anyway, about the party: A festive group of 40 or so ate (and ate, and ate), drank, and were merry until late into the night. Met some great people! The only two downers were walking home in those boots (only 4 blocks but my back is killing me today!) and the early morning wake up call from my kids. How come everyone else’s parents took the kids for the night?!
Well, I’m still in recovery mode from the lack of sleep but it was well worth it. Thanks again to all of you who pitched in…I’ll be back for more advice next time!
