my sister is getting her boobs done.
and i’m jealous as hell. well, my husband is jealous as hell. if i had to pick one surgery to have, plastics-wise, it would be a tummy tuck. hands down. every day of the week and twice on tuesdays.
i actually am the perfect candidate. my dad told me so (and he knows everything. no, really. he does). see, i have this little pooch. and the thing about this pooch is that it’s not going anywhere. i can work out every day for the rest of my life and starve myself (which is so not going to happen because i like food too much…mmm…i had two muffin tops today, which is seriously not going to help with the other muffin top that’s growing out of the tops of my jeans…but that’s an entirely different surgery altogether) and it’s still going to be there. when i was at my skinny, skinny, skinniest after Emily was born, it was still there. it’s skin. not fat. it needs to be surgically removed.
sure, i’d love to have veneers put on my teeth. and have my nose fixed a little bit (my nostrils are different sizes). and i would love to have big boobs. i mean, i’d actually like to have ANY boobs at all. but, it’s the tummy tuck i crave.
what about you guys? have any of you had plastic surgery? what have you had? what would you like to have? are you planning having it? what’s holding you back? the money? the pain?

I’m definitely with you on the tummy tuck…ditto to everything you said regarding current state of post-babies physique! I too balled like a baby at the OC finale. I’m glad they include some reference to Marissa – she was a huge part of the show.
I’d get boobs and a tummy tuck. ‘Cept I’ve never had a major surgery. I cried when they told me during delivery that I may need an emergency C-section. I refused it at first. I DID NOT want it. So, I don’t think that I could in good conscience do plastic purely for the reason of vanity when I wouldn’t let them deliver my son via C-section. LOL

I’d get a my boobs done, too, if I could stand the pain and spare the $$. Maybe a bit of a reduction and a lift. See how they turn out when I’m done childbearing….

I would love to have bigger boobs. It would be my surgery of choice. But I’ve watched too many shows where things go wrong. I may have small boobs but at least they are nice small boobs. I wouldn’t want to end up with one boob in my neck and the other down low or boobs that look hard as rocks. Maybe if we had the money and I was confident that the surgery would go well, then I may consider it. You’ll have to let us know how your sister’s surgery goes.

As for surgery, I’m too scared. Would love to have perkier boobs and a flatter tummy but nothing is worth having a comatose state induced and being slit open on purpose. Nope. I’ll stick to the treadmill and be happy with what I’ve got!
