Summer is so easy. We are on the go with pool parties and BBQ get-togethers all season long and love it. As Canadians we gotta embrace the short summer months, right? And we’re pretty chill about it. I love the long hot summer weekends of relaxing and just chatting away with nice icy cold bevvy in hand…or three.
We had a really nice catch up this past weekend with our friends. They have two teenage girls we have two boys. The kids have always have great fun together splashing in the pool and playing a bit of soccer in the backyard. The men catch up on work chat and travel plans. And us moms talk about how fast the kids are growing up and check if we need any Botox yet. Nope. Phew. We graze on platters of food for hours. It’s so easy.
