Ahh! It was fantastic. Two words: Jennifer Hudson (oh, and Jamie Foxx, and Eddie Murphy, and even Beyonce — whom I’ve playfully been hating on lately). Fantastic. Can you believe the audience clapped after Jennifer Hudson sang "You’re Gonna Love Me"? Have you ever heard of that in your life? An audience clapping in a movie theatre? It was THAT good. I had shivers! Alison L., you were right: I LOVED IT. At the end of the movie, I didn’t know where I was. I was THAT engaged. Go check it.

So skinny and plastic. There’s NONE of the old Ashlee there. I’ve heard through the gossipvine that she regrets changing her face so much. Who knows if that’s true. She does look prettier — more mainstream pretty, anyway. But, she’s lost all her character. As annoying as it was, it made her unique and memorable. Now she looks like a bland version of everyone else in Hollywood.

So, what are you doing for New Year’s? Share! We still don’t know what we’re doing. I’m fighting with my webhost at The Cheaty Monkey, because my freaking site is ALWAYS DOWN (you may have noticed this…especially if you visit in the afternoons). So, I’m a bit focused on fixing that. Looks like we’re going to have a quiet New Year’s. A lot of my friends are doing adult-only things. But, I really want to be with my little monkey on New Year’s. So, we’re thinking about staying in and eating Thai food and watching the ball drop. Your turn: what are you doing?
I love Jessica’s “man arms” – I could only dream of arms like that (and the body to match).
Happy New Year! I like Jlo’s boots – I’, all for the high heel! Today is my 1st day back at work after mat leave & I actually could not wait to wear me some high heels! Also, Dippity Dots, I think that’s what they’re called, are sold at a stand in Vaughan Mills. Have not tried them myself, they don’t interest me either. I’m so glad I finally caught up on my reading – have not been on site since before Christmas…Have a great year!

JEN — Go see Dream Girls, for sure. I didn’t plan on seeing it until Alison L. (one of our devoted readers — LOVE!) told me she thought I’d love it. It was TRULY mesmerizing. Good word for it.
LES — We’re going out for dinner at someone’s house, after all. They have a big dog, and I’ll be watching that dog like a hawk. They’re also making a ROAST. HATE! Don’t eat meat. So much for our evening at home. I’m nostalgic for that. These people are really nice and fun, but I really wanted to stay home this evening. We’ll make it an early night anyway and watch the ball drop together, cozy.

OMIGOSH, you dreamt about ME!? That’s so cool! And, you know, I LOVE sharks. They’re, like, my “totem” (not sure what that is, exactly, but they’re my “animal”). So, that’s SO weird!!! Let me know if you remember any more of it! Oh, and I dragged Josh to Dreamgirls — because I went to see Bond with him last week (LOVED BOND!). He didn’t mind it. 🙂

you gossip kept my mind distracted this morning at 4AM as I pumped. I have clogged milk ducts on both sides… oh my gosh talk about painful.
But as I read along in your gossip I soon forgot about the pain HAHA.
So about the gossip…
Christina does look 100% better. I was so disappointed in her when that dirty video came out years ago (I was in high school! hahahaha or fresh out I believe).
Hope her guy isnt a loser though like Brit’s was.
Dreamgirls looks good. My hubby would probably hate it. May have to go with some girlfriends.
Poor Ashlee for giving into the pressures of hollywood. She looked fine before.
She must of been real unhappy with her apperance though.. so I guess if it will help her live a happier life… than she mas as well of done it. After all she has the money for it.
On a side note I had a dream last night (my 1st in days! since Ive had Taite I havent had any dreams because im not asleep long enough to dream HAHA)… but any how you were in my dream!! It was a weird space dream with gigantic sharks… and a bunch of weirdness…. but at the end you and I met. Was really strange.. I dont remember much. I was just excited I dreamed! haha. Taite slept 12am-4am. Not to bad. He slept with me though. He got spoiled over the holidays with my parents visiting… Got to break that habit starting tomorrow.
New years resolution: Get Taite to sleep in his bassinet more haha
New years plans… probably to stick around at home. Im paranoid to go out with Taite much. The flus around Northern Ohio are awful right now. Why? Because its not cold enough!
I forgot to say WTF about Meg? Really, what was she thinking?
My husband is on-call this New Year’s so we’ll be at home but are hosting a games night with some other couples with kids. Having a dayhome comes in handy when it comes to entertaining, everything is kid friendly and child proof so parents can relax and enjoy themselves! I know I find it hard to not to follow my kids around other people’s homes sometimes for fear that they’ll get into something they shouldn’t…
