You will NOT believe the dream I had last night. More on that later. I had the best day with the monkey. We were so connected the entire day — me with her and her with me. By the end of the day, I felt like we were the only two people on earth (sooooo cliche, I know, but so true). It was pretty intense. To top it all off, Josh was late coming home. So, it was me and little miss monkey pretty much until bedtime. When he got home, I snapped out of our little world and grew up. I said "take her!" and I went downstairs to watch Y&R, eat home-made (by moi) sweet potato fries and check the gossip! Here it is….

LINDSAY ENTERS REHAB
Lindsay Lohan’s mother recently revealed that Linds has been attending AA meetings. But, we all know she needs a little more than that. Kudos to Linds for checking into rehab. Here’s the scoop c/o TMZ.com:

says "I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal

ISAIAH’S APOLOGY
Isaiah Washington apologized for blurting out the "f-word" (see Wednesday’s post for the story) at the Golden Globes. As you’ll see from the apology, he left no stone unturned; it’s the perfect apology.
I apologize to T.R., my colleagues, the fans
of the show and especially the lesbian and gay community for using a
word that is unacceptable in any context or circumstance. By repeating
the word Monday night, I marred what should have been a perfect night
for everyone who works on "Grey’s Anatomy." I can neither defend nor
explain my behavior. I can also no longer deny to myself that there are
issues I obviously need to examine within my own soul, and I’ve asked
for help.I know the power of words, especially those that demean. I realize
that by using one filled with disrespect, I have hurt more than T.R.
and my colleagues. With one word, I’ve hurt everyone who has struggled
for the respect so many of us take for granted. I welcome the chance to
meet with leaders of the gay and lesbian community to apologize in
person and to talk about what I can do to heal the wounds I’ve opened.T.R.’s courage throughout this entire episode speaks to his
tremendous character. I hold his talent, and T.R. as a person, in high
esteem. I know a mere apology will not end this, and I intend to let my

Hopefully, things will get resolved on the set of our favourite show (Beauty and the Geek not included!). This is a colossal mess….

LAV — Isaiah’s being criticized for racism and anti-gay remarks on the set of Grey’s Anatomy. The gay community is up in arms, i think, for good reason. The problem is that this was done by a public figure in a very public forum — so it’s a big deal. People can’t be led to think that speaking like this is acceptable when it’s very hurtful and powerful. JEREMY PIVEN is from Entourage, and he’s been in tons of other movies — like, one of my faves, *Old School* (LOVE!).
LORI — So nice to meet you! Minden is glowing because you said hello. Thank you! He’ll work that much harder now ;). You’re sooo right about everything you said — the serious problem of Isaiah (he’s “subtler” than Mel and Michael — which says a lot about Mel and Michael, ahem — but, no worse than they are). The apology covered all the bases, but, clearly, he had a lot of help…. Ha! “cougars” — good one!!!
Lavendula, Jeremy Piven has been in lot’s of stuff but you may remember him as the dean in Old School. He’s also in a new movie which looks great called Smokin’ Aces (see http://www.smokinaces.net/). Oh, and if you havent seen Entourage, it is one of the best shows on TV (HBO) – rent the first few seasons though first! Josh-O, Haley-O’s other half 🙂
Isaiah – glad you’re apologizing and seeking help, but I don’t think the F-word or, for that matter the N-word, just roll off your tongue like that unless you are comfortable saying them. By the way, just who are these “leaders of the gay and lesbian community” and do they meet regularly with the leaders of the hetero community? He has now joined the Mel Gibson/Michael Richards team.
