ANGELINA JOLIE: THE NEWEST CELEBRITY STAY-AT-HOME-MOM
Angelina is claiming that she’ll stay at home with her four children now to help Pax Thien Jolie adjust to his new life in America: "I will stay home to help Pax adjust to his new life," Ang says, "I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing
for me at the moment. I’m very proud and happy to be their mother."
Erm…I should hope that last part goes without saying…. But anyway, good for her! I wonder if she’ll start dressing like Jennifer Garner! I’d love to see her in ragged, oversized velour track pants, messy hair, the works!
Apparently, Ang is also concerned (as she should be) about the photographers that are IN HER FACE 24/7: "Photographs and press coverage make [Pax] upset," she says. "I’m very
worried about that — I’m sorry for bringing this into Pax’s life." He’ll get used to it, Ang. Don’t worry. Kids are wicked adjusters, anyway, eh Gorgeouses? And, of course, with this new addition to the family and the potential of Angelina dressing in velour and sliding down slides (a la Jen Garner), there’ll be EVEN MORE photographers on the Jolie-Pitts’ heels — so, not a whole lot to do about it….

Angelina’s letter in the Vietnam orphanage’s guest book. Could her writing be any weirder? In case you can’t read it, here’s what it says: "Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my son. He has been with
you for years and I’m sure he will miss your beautiful, caring staff as
much as you will miss him." Very nice….And, touching.
And, no, unmarried couples aren’t allowed to adopt in Vietnam. Ang used her Power of Celebrity to bring Pax home. A lot of people are angered by this — even our own Elizabeth of "This Life" (please see her very excellent post about it here).

I have to confess: I never liked Jennifer Garner pre baby. Now? I totally love her. Probably because now I relate to her: with the mothering, the schleppy clothes, the messy hair, outings to the park, etc.. She’s not just another celebrity with a perfect body. She’s got substance, and she’s, like, one of us, Gorgeouses! Totally HEART! (In these photos, she’s at the Pacific Palisades park, Vancouver. Looks like the weather’s pretty nice there!)

Tom, Katie and Suri got all St. Patricked out yesterday at (yet another) high-school sporting event. I love the green tartan dress on Suri! Cuteness. And, the matching green bag on Katie is surprisingly pleasing. She WOULD have a designer green bag just for St. Pattie’s Day…. Anyway, they’re all smiles here. A YUGE change from last week. Bet it’s all for show — neither of them are that good as actors (‘cept Tom Cruise in Collateral — I totally loved him in that). And, Tom should walk behind Katie more often — makes him look taller in pictures….

It’s so much easier being pregnant when you can TALK ABOUT IT! The first 3 months of pregnancy are hard enough — with the morning sickness and the weight gain — but not being able to TELL anyone why you suddenly look GREEN and like you’ve gained 15 pounds makes it even harder! Anyway, I’m happy to report that I’m feeling better every day — both physically and mentally. So, you know what that means…MO and BETTER GOSSIP! Woohooo! LOVE!

baby suri is so cute, Britney looks normal even when she might not be so we have to wait and see. Angie is getting a lot of criticism from people saying she only adopts beautiful children- I think it’s better than snorting her money up her nose like a lot of them do. Nicolette is a beautiful woman, however she has the same disease as Mariah Carey when it comes to putting an outfit together, how a woman can makes herself look like a 12 year old whore I have no idea but they manage to do it! Lindsay Lohan – never liked her – tabloid girl with minimal talent. and it’s nice to see Jennifer Gardner- a celebrity who is a great mom minus the drama.
i can’t get enough of violet affleck. did you see the farmer’s market shots of her with food all over her face? i love that jennifer doesn’t care and totally just lets her enjoy it!
OK…is it just me or is the whole Heather Mills Dancing With the Stars being positioned a bit circus sideshowish? I can’t stand her but this ain’t good.
Ahhh…life is tough for Brit. Hope she gets better and her babies can forgive her.

I think JG is my favorite celeb mum – because she is always with violet and so very hands on… and down to earth etc. However, I’ve always liked JG so its nothing new for me!

I totally agree about Jennifer Garner. I just didn’t care that much about her. Now I think she’s awesome. And Violet is adorable. But, have you noticed everything she owns is stripey? Always with the stripes. I think it’s funny.
But … Nicolette Sheridan – I don’t get the appeal. I don’t think she’s that pretty. (Prettier than me, yes, but not super star pretty)
